Spooky Happenings

The kids' school had a Halloween Parade through downtown a couple of days before Halloween.  Nikki was a pink fairy princess (she really just wanted to wear pink), and Ben was a pirate. Argh!

One of the few pictures of them together.  Nowadays, they don't sit still long enough to get a decent picture together.

Trick or Treating for the first time!  It took only one house for them to catch on to the idea  of knocking on a door and getting candy.  They had a great time!

Ever since then, strange things have been happening in our house.  See above.

Me: Nikki, is your baby in the refrigerator?
Nikki: Zha (yes), hite (hot).
Me: Oh, Baby was hot?
N: Zha (yes).
Me: So you put her in the fridge?
N: Zha (yes).
Me: Smart girl.
N: Thank you, Mom
