Gram, Nicole, Ben, and I all went on a trip to Washington, DC a couple of weeks ago. As luck would have it, it was prime cherry blossom viewing time. (There is a Cherry Blossom Festival every year to celebrate the blooms. The peak bloom time lasts only 2-3 days.) Everyone had a great time riding the metro (subway), walking around a bit, eating lunch at the National Mall, and viewing a small portion of the National Museum of Natural History (mainly the gift shop).
