Joe and I went to Key West, FL for a long weekend at the end of April. Here are some shots of what we saw. (The weather was pretty bad--windy and rainy for half of the weekend, so we had about a day to see everything)
We were in a memorial to the settlers of the island (see statue behind us)
The start of Highway 1
The southernmost point in the continental US. This is where the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea meet.

Technically Hawaii is the southern-most point in the US, although Key West is the southern-most point in the CONUS.
